The central recreation facility features a community room, children’s pool and fountain as well as a metered pool and slides and a playground. Three full service Athletic Clubs designed for the entire family are here in Oakhurst at Kingwood. Lake Houston YMCA, QLS Family Sport Complex and Kingwood Athletic Club. Kingwood is a golfer’s paradise. With The Clubs of Kingwood, three private courses including the Atascocita Country Club's 27-hole course, the Deerwood Club and the Oakhurst Golf Club, both home to 18-hole championship golf courses.
