If you have young children, Dripping Springs is a great city to live in because of its highly ranked school district. Dripping Springs ISD is ranked 27 in the state of Texas out of 1,018 school districts, so you can rest assured that your child's education is top notch!

Here are some of the schools' highlights:

  • All Dripping Springs ISD schools have been assigned “grades” of A+ or A by the website niche.com. The district was given a score of A+.
  • Dripping Springs has a graduation rate of 100% in 2021 where 95% of students pursue higher education.

Residents here enjoy the fact that they live within 30 minutes of Downtown Austin, but that they also get to live in breathtaking Texas Hill Country, positioned within a private, quiet setting where views of wildlife right inside residential neighborhoods are not uncommon.

Belterra Village Shopping Center is home to just about every shop you could think of or need something from, but there's also a more localized option. Beloved among locals for its many local shops and frequent gatherings, Mercer Street is full of unique shops and restaurants you just can't find anywhere else.

Both local and state parks abound, such as Hamilton Pool Preserve, Reimers Ranch Park, Pedernales Falls State Park, Roger Hanks Park, and so much more.

There is also an abundance of distilleries, breweries, and wineries in and around Dripping Springs. Wine-lovers flock to nearby Fredericksburg, which is Texas' version of Napa Valley and attracts thousands of tourists every year!

Craft beer connoisseurs will fit right in at one of the many tasting rooms, and when you want to try out a new cocktail there is also the infamous Dripping Springs Vodka!
